Why did Paul waste his breath if this doesnt apply to someone?

How is the command to reconcile accomodated if greener pastures are an option?

Where is your strenuous defense of that "one man" truth in good high minded Californian indignance against same-sex?

How can any woman be safe and loved as Christ loved the church within ANY marriage? Cant these same conditions apply?

You have extracted examples that are not cited as sin. And in every example you did not establish that the same "cruel" treatment was not true in some proportionate measure of these women before they were a second wife.

Was Sarai not barren and did she not curse before this? Were Leah and Rachel not the daughters of an 'evil man' before hand? Is envy and strife not a factor in a monagamous marriage when the husband is an avid fisherman or alcoholic and effectively absent? Were all of marriage's woes brought about by polygamy? I dont see that in scripture.

In all these examples have you showed that it is sin? Bonnie, what is sin? Where is the Law that the men in your examples have transgressed? If there are any, the same law would prohibit a monagamous marriage.

Why have you concluded that Christ has one bride? And how is this doctrine an example of why polygamy is sin? Our Shepherd said "...other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." That is no proof either of a second bride, but it may allude to something beyond one bride.

But in your rationale you assume that polygamy means a certain set of contions MUST exist in this marriage. Why have you concluded that ALL polygamy excludes a completely identical set of circumstances that a monagamous marriage encounters?

What if a woman walk away from a man? Are they still married? Yes, until death. (What else would John the Baptist have died for insisting?) Should your "one woman" law prevent that? Of course not, because Californians deny that a marriage is a marriage until death.

Californians would stone John the Baptist also. How dare he speak against a second husband OR a second wife after a divorce.

Does a wise "near kinsman" have the option to refuse? Yes. Does he have the option to shoulder the cause? Evidently. How is that impure?

Im sorry it makes you sick Bonnie. But it should, and its a good sickness. And hopefully a cleansing sickness. God, forgive me if Im as sceptical as Jonah. Let His holy Will and power be supreme on his earth.

I presently see only one will in California, and I advise that you leave it.
