Policy of the Church

No one is permitted more than one wedding in the Church. Ever.

If you want to marry someone else, whether you were widowed or abandoned, with the bishop's
permission, in order to prevent fornication, the rite of remarriage can be performed, which is not
at all the same thing as a wedding.

Historically, Christians have been very leery of any marriage, except *maybe* the first one.
