These are great scriptures Nancy, naturally.

Much appreciate your diligence as always, and your selfless giving.

My question was, (if this establishes that Christ has but one bride), how does it help confer that a non-king, non-church leader, never-divorced-a-woman "man who can afford it" may not take a second wife?

Christ is the Son of God. Laws do not constrain Him by whom laws are given.

Regardless, a single household can legitimately be comprised of several families as I understand, assuming the brides are no one elses, and provided the groom qualifies.

I ges I dont care to dispute that there is one bride, but I dont care to suggest it can be defended either.

Cheers.
