I believe that God made it clear what's best by how He created Adam, then created one woman as his helper, and stated the two will become one. This was His design as it was in the perfect world. I believe it's very important to look at that because it's where He declared things as "good." And He is the one who determines what is good.

I'm going to bow out of this discussion, but not in a negative way. It's because I can't really follow this thought-process well. My mind doesn't seem to work this way, so if I answer anything, I doubt it would address your thoughts well. I feel very strongly about what I see Scripture to say about polygamy on its own, and about there being only one Bride of Christ, and I think I've expressed it as best I can in what I've said already. Beyond that, I've had trouble following some of the other discussion around this topic.
