Hey Kel~

Sometimes I think my speaking into the silence that gathers here once in a while makes my quiet words seem loud.

I love to find comfort in this highly tense world. Silliness is a way to release tension for me, since I get to experience lots of stress these days studying for and taking finals. Also, as an almost full time nannie these days I get a little INTO the comforter mode I think. I recently moved in with my precious grandbabies and youngest daughter and her hubby, so I have plenty of opportunity to practice, and truthfully~ I love it!

My children are like lovely blooms growing in the garden of my heart daily. Three "little" boys (pansie faced dandelions) grrrrr, and one beautiful (long stemmed rose) ahhhh, of a grand daughter to fawn over.

Yet the flowers of this world will all fade by turns, therefore, I must not cling to these, but only lightly possess them. I chose not to cling to my dreams for this daily life, for it's past has withered, and it's future is unsure. To have Light when my candle in this dim place is put out~ that is safety sweet. To store my jewels where I cannot ever lose them. To possess what may not be seen yet by the inner eye of my aching heart~ to love the Most Lovely~ and to know the pure height width depth and breadth of His love to me. That, is true comfort.

It's a funny thought Kelly, that an inner layer of cork shields every tree from waters damage. Yet it requires 25 years for a cork oak to grow it's protection. Harvesters strip the tree three times every 8-14 years, in June, July, and August. (Those are interesting numbers if you study 'biblical'-numerology at all) However, the workers must be careful not to strip the inner layer of cork bark, which will protect the tree, and produce a new harvest of bottle stoppers!

Zechariah 2:13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for He is raised up out of his holy habitation. . . . even so. bonnie
