Better to marry than to burn?

Hey y'all,

I apologize if this has been discussed to death, but the archive here is intimidating.

What are the minimal sufficient conditions that make marriage, (or its pursuit), morally obligatory for an individual?

Under what conditions is it a sin to remain, (or to desire to remain), single?

If it is better to marry than to burn, then what does it mean to make oneself a eunuch for the kingdom?
